Without a doubt, this is everyone’s favorite recipe. Recently, I have had an onslaught of people ask me for it so I decided to become a “foodie blogger” for the day and share this special one just for you. Of course, you can find it in my book, along with many of our mission adventures.
John and I made a video of me making this dish while we lived in Mexico for a Paula Deen contest and although I did not win, the video and recipe were posted on the contest website. (Later I realized that overseas entries were not applicable for the contest, which is a shame because I really needed that new kitchen!)

From the Philippine jungles to the poorest villages of Mexico, Stasia shares from her heart beautiful and godly lessons about grace, humility and hospitality. I highly recommend this book not only for its wealth of recipes (she includes recipes for baked goods, desserts, appetizers, soups and salads, entres, beverages, and breakfast foods), but for the faith she shares, inspiring one to trust God and His “small voice” as He leads and teaches each of His children, no matter on what mission field they find themselves.
