It’s Not About Me by author and preacher Max Lucado is a beautiful reminder of who we are and where we should pursue our focus as individuals in an ever self-seeking world. Max takes sensitive subject matter and puts it into focus by contrasting it with the eternal truths of God and His Word. He has great fluidity in his writings which draws the reader into an easy understanding of what he is endeavoring to communicate. The truths he communicates in this book, as well as all of his writings, are sound and easily understandable. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.
Max Lucado is an excellent communicator of the basic truths of God and His Divine love for humanity that tend to be difficult for people to grasp. His insight and humor appeals to a broad audience. There are a number of related books, such as the 3 in 1 Travel version as well as the teen version. I read the standard hard copy and thumbed through the others as samples on my Kindle. I gave It’s Not About Me a high five stars on Amazon.com.
